What is the AC Café?

The AC Café is a self-directed course in Brightspace that is designed to help new students prepare for college during the months leading up to their first day.

The course is not graded, nor does it count for program credit. This course is strictly voluntary and exists to help you start your program feeling prepared.

How does the AC Café help me?

If you’re new to Algonquin College, the AC Café can help you discover information that can help you succeed as a student. Rather than try to take everything in and get everything set up while also starting classes, you can find out important information ahead of time.

The course consists of modules on different topics, such as AC Technology, Understanding and Managing Your Timetable, Things to do before starting your program, Security & Safety, and more.
