Resumes: Help preparing your resumes and cover letters

The Co-op & Career Centre (Ottawa campus) at Algonquin College offers the following support to help you with your resume and cover letter:

  • Meeting with a Career Advisor. You can make an appointment for one-on-one support to review of your resume and/or cover letter.
  • Online review of your resume through VMock. This tool provides feedback using Artificial Intelligence, offering instant personalized feedback on your resume based on global best practices.
  • Online resources on the AC Career Platform. You go step by step through the process of creating your resume and cover letter, and access templates and examples to help you get started.
  • Reference sheets on the Online Resources page. You can save these documents and access them when you need them in the future.

You can also visit the Employment Services at the Perth campus for in-person job search support.
