The admissions requirements for each program are listed on the program page. Explore the program page for the programs you are interested in to get a sense of whether you meet the requirements.  

You may be wondering if you are qualified or eligible to attend College for a variety of reasons, including those that follow: 

• You did not graduate from high school, but you are 19 years old or older.
• You are an immigrant to Canada and did your schooling in another country.
• You did not take the specific high school courses you need for your desired program.

Applying without an Ontario Secondary School Diploma

Whether you are a mature student (19+) or are a domestic student applying with international transcripts, you can find instructions on what to submit for your application and how to do so on the Submitting Documents for Admissions page. This page also has instructions for students with transcripts from other Canadian provinces.

Meeting admission requirements for courses you are missing 

 If you are missing certain courses that you need for college or program admission requirements, you may be able to meet these requirements by taking courses through the Academic Access Centre . The Centre’s Academic Upgrading program offers courses in the following subjects: 

• English 
• math 
• sciences 
• computer skills 
• preparation for health sciences 

Academic Upgrading courses are offered frequently throughout the year, and they are usually free for Ontario residents.
