Program guidance: Questioning your program choice

If you are not sure if your program is the right fit for you, there are a few services where you can receive guidance:

  • Academic Circle of Care (Your Student Success Team): Your Student Success Team, including your Program Coordinator, Academic Advisor and Student Success Specialist, can discuss your concerns or doubts about your current program and suggest other programs that you might be interested in at the College.
  • Career Counselling and Meetups: In one-on-one counselling sessions, Career Counsellors can help you figure out your career goals and determine which program will help you achieve those goals. They can help you explore your values, skills, interests, and personal strengths. You can also meet with a Career Counsellor at a Career Advising Meetup for a 15-minute chat session to ask career-related questions.
  • Career and Program Choice module: This online module can help you determine your interests and career goals and show you how to find information about college courses and the labour market.

If you decide to change your program, please follow the instructions on the Program Withdrawal/Transfer website.
